Course 2 and 3 Selection.

It was only yesterday, when everyone was celebrating from there qualifying for the course one level then. Now it’s a different story. Over the past few months 300 plus students have been working for the next level. Now it was time to look at what their work had amounted to.

The day was bright and all the Nairobits trainers were up and about preparing for the interviews. The students were all enthusiastic and nothing seemed to would cloud their day.

The interview kicked off as scheduled at 10 am at the Go down art Centre Nairobi. The panelist involved

The interview continued for the better part of the morning without any hassles. The student waited patiently each one of the waiting for what was insured for them. The interviews were an opportunity to get one on one gimps of what the future of the course 2 and 3 would look like. This was followed by a close review of their 2 months in course 1 as well as an internal exam set and overseen by their training team.

Their performance during the interview proved that each one of them deserved the right to proceed to the next level. Making the cut was difficult and this only made the day longer for all the trainers. The students went through the process and were then relied and the trainers left to make the final review on the students’ performance. A quest that took the team till the late hours of the night.

But in the end, the choices had to made; and out of all the ups and down of the following day, the wait was over. The entire Nairobits training team was met by an enthusiastic lot waiting to hear what was in stored for them. And then we had it. The new course 2 and 3 class of July to December 2012. The entire course will take the next 6 months. Where they will be expected to and adopt new skills not only in design, but animation and development.

This time the selection was a bit different for all the other times. This was because the number of students selected for the level was increased from the usual 60 students to 90. This was due to the opening of a new course 2 and 3 Centre in maj mazuri. This greatly increased the chances of even more students learning.

Congratulations to the students who got selected. All the best.
