Employee Volunteers Needed
Location: Nairobi City Centre
National Volunteer Network Trust (NAVNET) is a not for profit organization founded in 2003 and is registered as a Trust in Kenya . NAVNET is a hub of all forms of local and national volunteering geared towards enhancing community social and economic development. It works through local and national volunteers and promotes volunteerism across the country and serves both individuals and organizations. To achieve its goal, it works through four (4) strategic options; National Volunteer Service programme, Volunteer Management Trainings, Development Consulting Services and Volunteerism Advocacy Service.
NAVNET has been fully operational for the last five (5) years and would like seasoned employee/professional volunteers to offer their skills, knowledge and experience to do an evaluation/review and advise the NAVNET board and management and if possible assist in developing policies, systems and procedures in each of the following areas:

If you are an employee or a professional holding a senior management position, have masters degree and have experience of at least five (5) years and an expert in any of the above areas, then we are seeking for your volunteer services. In return, we will recognize your efforts by offering a certificate of appreciation and making you our advisor. It will also be a chance to test waters on your consulting skills. This is an Employees Volunteering Programme (EVP) that helps the employees to offer their skills, knowledge and expertise to non-profit organizations in order to strengthen their capacity for service delivery to the community. This programme enhances individual employees / professionals to exploit their full potential. Full terms of reference for each assignment are available upon request from jkinyua@navnet.or.ke No form of payment is made for the services rendered. The service can be rendered either part-time (on hourly basis) or online volunteering.
