Published by Program for Appropriate Technology in Health (PATH), the RHO (Reproductive Health Outlook) website provides summaries of up-to-date information, links to in-depth reproductive health information on the web, and the chance to communicate with international experts and peers through Community Forum message boards. RHO is especially designed for reproductive health program managers and decision makers working in low-resource settings.

Gender is at the center of sexuality and youth development. While sex determines the biological differences between males and females, gender identifies the social roles and relations associated with being male or female. Gender defines the norms and expectations about appropriate male and females behavior and the interaction between the sexes. Rigid gender norms hinder access to quality services and undermine the reproductive health of young people. As a result of this correlation between gender issues and adolescent sexual and reproductive health, gender is an integral part of the AYA project, which seeks to improve the sexual and reproductive health of young people.

The POP/RH Portal, an Internet initiative focusing on population and reproductive health, provides a community-built database of shared population information, including data, research, projects, ideas and dialogue. The Portal was developed by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) and the Development Gateway Foundation, in collaboration with 14 partner institutions from the population community, linking it to resources on their websites and to those of other population and development organizations.
